Clotisprin

Composition: Clopidogrel, ASA 

Indication: Reduction of thrombotic events in patients with MI, recent stroke, or established PAD and indicated for the acute coronary syndrome. 

Dosage: Prevention of ischemic events: 1 cap daily. Acute coronary syndrome: Maintenance: 1 cap daily. 

Contra Indication: Hypersensitivity. Recent history of GI bleeding. Active pathological bleeding such as a peptic ulcer or intracranial hemorrhage, or bleeding disorders (e.g. hemophilia). Last 3 mos of 

Precaution: Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia Purpura (TTP). Patients who have lesions with a propensity to bleed. Reye’s syndrome. Nasal polyps or nasal allergies. Patients at risk of increased bleeding from trauma, surgery, or other pathological conditions. Hepatic and renal impairment. ASA: 1st and 2nd trimester of pregnancy and lactation. GI disorders. Concomitant treatment with low-dose heparin therapy. 

Drug interaction: Abdominal pain, dyspepsia, gastritis, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, constipation, GI hemorrhage, ulceration, neutropenia, rash, palpitation, syncope, drowsiness, asthenia, neuralgia, paresthesia, and vertigo.
