Contents: Dexketoprofen trometamol
Indication/Uses: Pain of mild to moderate intensity eg, musculo-skeletal pain, dysmenorrhoea, dental pain.
Dosage/Direction for Use: 25 mg every 8 hr. Max of 75 mg. Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 30 min before meals.
Special Precaution: History of allergic conditions; history of oesophagitis, gastritis &/or peptic ulcer; patients who are receiving other therapy that interfered w/ hemostasis eg, warfarin or other coumarins or heparins; may cause glomerular nephritis, interstitial nephritis, renal papillary necrosis, nephrotic syndrome & acute renal failure. Discontinue in case of relevant increase in liver parameters, SGOT & SGPT. May mask symptoms of infectious diseases. Haematopoetic disorders, SLE or mixed connective tissue disease; impairment of hepatic, renal, or cardiac function as well as in patients with other conditions predisposing to fluid retention; history of cardiac disease particularly w/ previous episodes of heart failure. Discontinue at the 1st appearance of skin rash, mucosal lesions or any other sign of hypersensitivity. History of HTN &/or mild to moderate CHF; uncontrolled HTN, CHF, established ischaemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, &/or cerebrovascular disease; risk factors for CV disease eg, HTN, hyperlipidemia, DM, smoking (for long-term treatment). Mild to moderate hepatic dysfunction. Patients receiving diuretic therapy or those who could develop hypovolaemia; mildly impaired renal function. May impair female fertility. Elderly. Children & adolescents.
Adverse Reactions: Nausea &/or vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, dyspepsia.
