Contents: Midazolam

Indication/Uses: Pre-op sedation, conscious sedation prior to short diagnostic or endoscopic procedures, induction of general anesth prior to administration of other anesth agents.

Dosage/Direction for Use: Pre-op sedation Adult >60 yr 0.07-0.08 mg/kg IM 1 hr prior to surgery. Conscious sedation 1 mg/mL by slow IV inj.

Special Precaution: Patients w/ COPD, impaired renal function. High risk surgical patients. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Lactation. Elderly.
